»ORION« BULKERS operates a fleet of top modern grab-fitted sister supramaxes of the popular TESS 52 and TESS 58 design which were all built by Tsuneishi Heavy Industries.

In 2012 we will take delivery of one further grab-fitted TESS 58 sister ship from Tsuneishi Zhoushan, China.

This future-orientated vessel type with very shallow draft is suitable for carrying a wide range of bulk cargoes such as coal, grain, ore, alumina, bauxite, mineral sand and various steels. Four large grab buckets on board each vessel ensure fully self-sufficient loading and discharging operations. The very high degree of flexibility these ships can offer does make them ideal candidates for world-wide spot trading.
